Haute Coiffure Salon on 629 Commonwealth Ave and say hello to owner, George Saleh. He has a lot of hair wisdom to share with clients and stylists alike.
George has been in the hair industry for over 30 years, owning his own salon for 12. George has been all over the world doing hair. He came from Lebanon but has traveled many times to Paris and Germany with Schwarzkopf for training. "Hair," he says, "It's my thing. It's my life."
What made you pursue the beauty industry and what is your favorite part?
I was 14 years old when I started my career. I always wanted to do hair styling and felt I could be a very good artist. Hair coloring is my favorite part. My favorite color brand is
Schwarzkopf, obviously.
What made you open a salon?
I always wanted to have my own business. I love my job plus I like to give opportunities to the new hair stylist to explore how to be successful doing hair services.
What inspires you?
The way we can add beauty through a woman's hair and show her true beauty queen.
