We asked Stephanie Greene about her experience as a salon owner with Amy Roberts for the last 4 years, and why she loves the beauty industry and Paramount Beauty.
Stephanie has been a part of the salon industry since she was 15, starting by answering phones for her sister and has been behind the chair for 22 years now. She is an avid animal fan and never misses a Jason Aldean concert.
What made you open your own salon?
As my clientele grew, I was ready to bring on my first apprentice. And I think it's really important for new stylists to have a place to go and learn with so many suites and booth renters now, a lot of new stylists have a hard time finding a salon to mentor them.
What made you pursue the beauty industry and what is your favorite part?
My sister is 15 years older than me and graduated beauty school when she was 17. Seeing her my whole life doing hair, always making me practice on my friends and Barbies, and seeing her working in a salon and owning her own salon. Coloring is my passion. I love a good red head and good blonding session.

What have been your "keys to success?"
Consistency. Hard work. Long hours. Constantly evolving. Jumping in feet first all the time with
everything. Continuing to educate myself.
And most important the people you surround yourself with. Not one single successful person did it alone. It's impossible. You'd lose your mind if you didn't have a great support system. Being successful is hard. It's exhausting. Some days you cry. Some days you want to quit. But that's what success is: powering through the bad to get to all the good.
